Who We Are

CoderSpace creates engaging learning experiences to inspire a new generation of leaders and innovators. At CoderSpace, youth ages 14-17 learn to code, collaborate on local client projects and develop leadership skills for a digital world.

What We Do

We teach. CoderSpace instructors design and facilitate team-based, project-based activities that create an environment for collaborative and contextual learning.

We build. CoderSpace youth work in teams to design and build websites for local clients while gaining real world experience in web development, teamwork and leadership.

How We Do It

CoderSpace is powered by curiosity and collaboration. Investigation and exploration are central to our instructional approach. As a community of practice, we work together to share our knowledge, skills and ideas.

Programs

Summer Program

In our intensive 8-week program students learn the code that powers the web, work in teams to build client websites and showcase their work at Demo Day.

Saturday Sessions

During the school year we host weekend meetups for students learning to code and working on paid client projects.

School-based Programs

We deliver in-school and after school programs that introduce middle and high school students to the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JS.
